- I have a router that needs repairing, could you advise me what to do?
At Protrade we have a state of the art in-house service centre. Not only is the facility an official warranty service agent for most professional power tool brands currently available, it also has exclusive rights as the only UK authorised facility for many of the brands too. Be assured that your tools will be repaired by certified technicians using genuine parts. - Which cutter do you use with the Trend Worktop jigs?
There is a selection of cutters that are suitable: 3/83X1/2TC, 3/83DX1/2TC, 3/85X1/2TC.
- Which trend cutter is recommended for use with hinge jig?
We recommened using a 3/8LX1/4TC.
- What are the contents of the HINGE/JIG?
The Hinge Jig includes the jig complete, 2 bradawls for fixing the jig, a T handle hex key for adjusting the jig and the appropriate guide bush GB160, the only other item required is the cutter Ref: 3/8LX1/4TC.
- Can the Pocket Hole Jig be used for mitred frame corner joints on material less than 50mm wide?
Yes, the jig can be used to create pockets for mitred frame corner joints. It may be necessary to tilt the pocket hole piece so that the hole is not perpendicular to the mitred edge, so as to prevent the pocket from breaking out of the top edge.
- How do I know when the filter has expired in the Airshield?
During the pre-use check the flow indicator will alert you to either a low battery or a clogged filter. If the battery is charged and the red ball on the flow indicator is still not at the top of the tube, then this suggests the filter needs changing.
