Tesa 4333 precision masking tape is made from Washi paper. ‘Wa’ meaning Japanese and ‘Shi’ meaning paper. Unlike traditional Western papers which are manufactured from wood pulp Washi paper is made using shrubs – typically the Paper Mulberry. These flowering shrubs have very long fibres which lend themselves to high quality paper manufacturing and benefit from being highly sustainable. Washi paper can be manufactured to be extremely thin yet remains highly durable and tear resistant, making it ideal for manufacturing the highest quality masking tapes.

Tesa 4333 sensitive masking tape is very thin allowing it to conform to shapes and can be pressed onto the surface easily and evenly. The unique acrylate adhesive formulation present on the tape sticks to the surface firmly yet is specially designed to be peeled away without leaving any glue residue or tear away previously applied paints, lacquers or print.
Tesa 4333 leaves a razor sharp edge and can be left stuck to the surface for long periods of time without risk of causing damage to the underlying substrate when it is eventually peeled off. The pink colour of the tape makes it very easily distinguishable from other tapes.
Ideal for use in spray shops, masking during decorating – even wallpaper, automotive manufacture and smooth or slightly textured surfaces that require protection from overspray or paint contamination.
