Sif Gas Fluxer Model 69D
Product Overview
-
The gas fluxer process introduces a flux automatically into the flame for manual or automatic torch brazing applications. Introduced into the fuel gas, gas flux creates superior wetting action and encourages filler metal to evenly flow into the joint where it is needed most, the gas fluxer process reduces brazing times by an average of 40%.

The gas fluxer is mainly intended for use with oxy-acetylene equipment, acetylene passes through the gas fluxer as a vapour picking up exactly the right amount of flux and puts it in the flame for uninterrupted brazing. A bright green flame indicates the flux is in the flame.
Brazed joints are strong, smooth, non-porous so there are fewer rejects, free from glassy flux residues, paint and other coatings can normally be applied without any need for further preparation, reducing post-braze clean- up costs.
Used with bronze, silver, and copper-silver-phosphorus filler metals, on base metals such as copper, brass, carbide, steel and stainless steel
Gas fluxer improves brazing quality, the result is increased productivity with reduced material and application cost.
