• Pferd FR-WS flap wheels are constructed with coated abrasive elements arranged radially about the tool axis in a fan-type configuration, They are the ideal abrasive for use on angle grinders for applications from coarse to fine grinding. The wheels can be mounted directly on to any portable angle grinders with an M14 thread, without the need of additional clamping devices. For the best results, use the wheel at a recommended cutting speed of 40-50 m/s.

  Designed to be used on variable speed angle grinders to ensure maximum performance.

  Due to their flexibility the FR-WS flap wheel will adapt ideally to the contours of the workpiece.

  The abrasive grain is embedded in a resinoid bond on the strong flexible backing cloth.

  Can be used on various materials: Aluminium, copper, brass, stainless steel (INOX), grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS), annealed cast iron, hardened, heat-treated steels over 1,200 N/mm2 (> 38 HRC), steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC, steel, cast steel, steels up to 1,200 N/mm² and cast steel

  Ideal for weld dressing, deburring, surface finishing and fine grinding in multiple steps
