The technology covers a performance range from 400 to 3,200 watt and thus offering enough power for a range of energy-intense applications.

  Metabo LiHD batteries use 21700 cells which gives them up to 47% more volume of energy-delivering anode, cathode, and electrolyte material, when compared with batteries using standard 18650 cells. This helps the Metabo LiHD batteries deliver between 50 to 100% longer runtimes.

  The busbars and larger contacts used in the Metabo LiHD battery range are capable of handling much high currents. This helps to cover an entire power range up to 3,200 watts, making tasks previously not possible with cordless tools, possible.

  3x better conductivity is achieved thanks to the cell connectors made from a specialized copper alloy.

  The LiHD batteries offer optimal protection against internal contamination through complete grouting and full a protective coating on the electronic components, combined with an optimal seal on the top structure.

  LiHD batteries have the ESCP (Electronic Single Cell Protection) feature, this is designed to protect each and every battery cell from discharging completely and from overcharging, helping to ensure extremely long battery life.

  Patented air cooled charging technology ensures that the battery pack is cooled during charging, this helps to produce shorter charging times and much longer service life.

  Exterior rubber coating on the battery pack provides secure, non-slip stability and helps to reduce damage against impacts.

  The cells in the Metabo LiHD batteries are also protected by a rubber buffer.
