VersaDrive Heavy Duty Impacta-drill taps are primarily designed to be adapted for use with a reversible magnet drill for drilling and tapping heavy section plates in one easy operation. They can also be adapted for use with an impact wrench’s to enlarge and tap existing holes. Due the high rotational torque generated by these larger thread sizes, Heavy Duty Impacta-drill taps are not recommended for use in a standard drill chuck.
