Fire Classification Information:
Class A: Fires caused by combustion of solid material: wood, paper, straw, textiles, coal, car tyres.
Class B: Fires caused by combustion of liquids or materials that liquefy: petrol, benzene, oils, fats, paints, tar, ether, alcohol stearin, paraffin.
Class C: Fires caused by combustion of gases: methane, propane, hydrogen, acetylene, natural gas, city gas.
