  Makes difficult sanding easy when you need to sand a location that is challenging to reach, or need to uniformly sand a unique profile, choose a 3M™ softback sanding sponge for its ability to conform to most any shape or reach difficult spots.

  The soft foam backing is more flexible than conventional paper backed sandpaper. To access tight locations, the foam backing has been made relatively thin as compared to many other sanding sponges.

  Versatile sanding sponges are used for hand-sanding applications where you need more precision and detail than could be achieved with machine-sanding methods.

  Aluminum oxide mineral cuts fast while grinding, blending and deburring. Aluminum oxide is a premium grain with higher fracture strength, meaning the mineral will fragment and renew more readily. Fragmenting continually exposes new, sharp cutting edges as the mineral wears, which maintains the cutting effectiveness and extends the life of the abrasive.

  Available in fine or medium, for sanding before primer applications.

  Aluminum oxide abrasive offers a long life and fast cut.

  Waterproof bonding system allows for either wet or dry sanding applications.
