TIG Welding Machines AC/DC
TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding machines are used to join metals by creating an electric arc between a tungsten electrode and the base metal. The arc melts the base metal and filler wire is added to create a weld pool. An inert gas, such as argon, is used to protect the weld pool from contamination. TIG welding machines are known for producing high-quality welds with minimal distortion. They are commonly used to weld thin metals, such as aluminum and stainless steel, but can also be used to weld thicker metals, such as steel and cast iron. TIG welding machines are available in a variety of sizes and power ratings. The size and power rating of the machine will determine the thickness of metal that can be welded and the type of welding jobs that can be performed.
