• Orbital sanders: which feature a square or rectangular base, and are ideal for sanding edges or working into corners.
• Random orbital sanders: which feature a circular pad with a sanding action working on varying elliptical orbits for swirl free finishes.
• Eccentric geared sanders: which also have a circular pad but feature a special sanding mode for very fast stock removal.
• Belt sanders: which sand in a linear motion and offer aggressive sanding for harsher surfaces.

We also stock a wide range of electric polishers to remove scratches and defects from paint and achieve high gloss finishes on solid surfaces and composites. Most electric polishers operate using a plain rotary action which, in the hands of a skilled bodywork technician or detailer can achieve perfect results. However, they can cause significant damage to paint if used incorrectly. Less experienced users or DIY enthusiasts may find a dual action or eccentric geared type polisher easier to use, as they reduce the risk of cutting through the paint whilst still achieving an excellent finish.
