Metabo Guide Rail System
The Metabo guide rail system is compatible with every cordless and mains powered circular saw in the Metabo range, it can also be used with other power tool brands that use the same guide rail profile. Metabo guide rails are extruded from aluminium and have friction reducing inserts to help the slaw slide along the rail with minimal effort. Grip strips on the underside prevent the rail from moving during cutting and an anti splinter strip leaves a chip free finish – all of which are replaceable.
Metabo guide rails are longer than many competitor brands and can be joined to one another using a single connector. The wide, low profile of the connector piece is surface mounted and locks onto the rail securely, eliminating any unwanted misalignment, it helps to prevent the connector from being lost when not in use. Ratchet and screw type clamps are also available within the Metabo guide rail system to ensure there is no possible movement of the rail during operation – ideal for when making long cuts on doors, sheet material and timber.
