Our extensive collection includes dust bags and nozzles, as well as filters, cleaning kits, suction hoses and floor tools to help you stay safe on-site or in the workshop. For hands-free dust extraction, innovative brands such as Festool also offer Bluetooth remote controllers for your dust extractors. Investing in dust extraction equipment doesn’t have to starve you of cash flow as Protrade can offer 0% finance. This allows you to take delivery of tools you need immediately and spread the cost with no extra charges.
Exposure to dust within the workplace and on-site can cause serious, long term health issues and must be protected against. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are heavily focusing on dust extraction and are continually bringing in new regulations with regards to dust control. Just recently they have suggested that Silica, a product that is naturally found in certain types of stone, rock, clay and sand should be treated like asbestos. Serious words and rightly so!
One of the best ways to reduce dust in the workplace is to use a combination of ‘on tool’ dust extraction and regular cleaning of the working environment, using suitable dust extraction equipment fitted with the correct vacuum accessory.
