Cutting Discs

The grain type and bond construction allows discs to be manufactured to cut a multitude of materials which include, mild steel, stainless steel, non ferrous metals, masonry, cast iron and composites. The selection of the disc depends greatly on the material to be cut in order to maximise cutting speed and reduce premature disc wear; the discs performance can be enhanced further still by being partnered with high powered tools that maintain their speed whilst under load. Long disc life is not always a good measure of disc value, as discs that experience very little wear may also give very slow cutting performance, thus reducing the overall cost effectiveness of the product.
