The extended warranty period provided by Protrade is longer than any other Authorised Milwaukee Distributor in the UK. We provide a three-year warranty on all component parts of M12 and M18 cordless power tools as standard… which includes the actual power tool, the batteries, and the charger. The standard warranty for Milwaukee power tools in the UK, if the tool has been registered, is three years on the tool, two years on the batteries and just one year on the charger. From experience, any problems tend to occur in the third year, so the additional warranty period on batteries and chargers can be incredibly useful and save your hard-earned money in the future.
If you’re often too busy to register your Milwaukee power tools within 30 days of the purchase date, or it simply slipped your mind – worry not. Protrade register all Milwaukee tools on your behalf, to guarantee the warranty extension is applied. We also hold all purchase information and warranty certification for easy recall. Should the tool fail during the three-year warranty period, there’s no requirement to dig out original proof of purchase invoices, and you also don’t need to find any warranty certification either. Simply contact us, and we’ll sort it!
With Protrade’s exclusive extended warranty period on all component parts of Milwaukee M12 and M18 cordless power tools, batteries, and chargers – you can almost certainly guarantee no repair costs for three whole years. Although Milwaukee’s warranty conditions do invalidate tools that have been wilfully damaged or used in abnormal or improper conditions, Protrade will strongly support all genuine warranty claims on behalf of our customers. As one of just two Approved Warranty Service Agents in mainland UK, we have the trust and discretion of Milwaukee to support their warranty conditions, whilst providing excellent customer service to Milwaukee users all over the UK.
To minimise costs and hassle further, Protrade will collect and redeliver all power tools that have failed during the warranty period, from any mainland UK address. This service is not just exclusively for tools that have been purchased from Protrade. We’ll also collect and redeliver equipment that has failed under warranty, that was purchased from an alternative Authorised Milwaukee Dealer. For items not purchased from Protrade, it’s essential that you also provide a copy of the original purchase invoice, plus the warranty certificate, as we won’t have this information to hand.
The collection and redelivery service can also be extended to Milwaukee power tools that are in need of a service or repair, but not covered by the manufacturers’ warranty. The nominal carriage fee is simply passed on at cost. For customers in the East Midlands area, power tool repairs can also be dropped off at any of our depot locations in Derby, Nottingham, Burton-on-Trent, Mansfield, or Chesterfield.
